“A Round for the Kids”

In September of 2017, Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin voted to open a new school on the existing church campus. Opening its doors for the first time in August 2018, Crown of Life Christian Academy started its first academic school year welcoming 127 scholars ages 2K-8th grade. From early on, we knew that Crown of Life Christian Academy would have a bright future if those laying the foundation could remain true to the vision and planning strategy.

At the beginning of the 2022 academic year, CLCA managed three campuses. Our brand-new school was erected in 2022 on land that was donated to CLCA by Bethany Lutheran Church. This new campus is home to our K-8th graders. Early childhood classes and programs are at the Bethany campus (educational wing and remodeled center). Our 10-year plan recognizes the completion of phase 1 and 2 of construction, but also looks ahead to phase 3, which will include more K-8 classrooms as well as an early education childhood center. This allows us to expand our mission by offering one location for the scholars and families we serve. We are humbled that God is using our academy for His kingdom.

Just like any school, funding and cash flow is always a struggle. There is a cross between a lack of funding and wanting to expand programs, facilities and debt management. We strive to strategically plan to overcome those challenges and boundaries. Our administrative team, governing board, staff, parents and students possess a growth mindset. How can we overcome fiscal restrictions? How do we find partners who believe in our mission, model and future? These are the questions we ask as we plan for the present and future. Each year we host this golf outing to assist with our bottom line. We boldly pray for continued support and for you to consider partnering with CLCA.
